Driver Job Description:

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for operating company vehicles and transporting goods or passengers safely and efficiently. You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles, including cars, vans, trucks, or specialized vehicles, depending on the job requirements.
• Transport goods or passengers to designated locations in a timely manner, following scheduled routes or as directed by the supervisor.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards to ensure the well-being of yourself, passengers, and other road users.
• Inspect vehicles before and after each trip, reporting any defects or issues to the appropriate department.
• Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of assigned vehicles, both inside and outside.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging.
• Provide excellent customer service, displaying professionalism and courtesy to clients, customers, and colleagues.
• Follow delivery instructions, obtain necessary signatures or documentation, and collect payments, if applicable.
• Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and other vehicle-related expenses.
• Report any accidents, incidents, or traffic violations to the supervisor immediately.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including adherence to working hours and break schedules.
• Stay updated on traffic conditions, road closures, and alternative routes to avoid delays or obstacles.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance while on duty, wearing the company-provided uniform, if applicable.
• Attend training sessions or meetings as required to enhance knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a Driver, preferably in a similar role or industry.
• Excellent knowledge of traffic laws, regulations, and safe driving practices.
• Ability to operate different types of vehicles, including manual and automatic transmissions.
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Customer-oriented mindset with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical fitness and stamina to handle loading/unloading of goods and long hours of driving.
